Modular integrating sphere concept
The modular integrating sphere concept from Gigahertz-Optik offers a high flexibility level when it comes to individual configuration of integrating spheres. In addition to the various components such as port frames, baffles and sockets that can be directly mounted onto the integrating sphere, port adapters with different functions are also offered.
Port frames
Port frames enable mounting of port adapters for detectors, light sources and other accessories.
Port frames with V-nut
The UMPF and UMPF-HL series port frames have a circumferential V-nut onto which port adapters can be fixed.
Port frames for different loads
The UMPF series port frames are ideal for mounting of light-weight components and light lever forces. UMPF-HL port frames are designed for heavy loads and can withstand strong lever forces. UMPF-SH port frames have threaded bolts on the front side for mounting of accessories.
Customized port frames
Gigahertz-Optik also offers customized designs for the port frames on demand.
Dust and light protection caps
Dust and light protection caps are used to seal openings with port reducers during transport or when the sphere is not in use. The caps are made of black plastic material.
UMPF port frames are fixed tightly onto the sphere shell according to the configuration specifications
