UV and Blue Light Curing Light Measurement  

UV curing with broadband light sources, e.g. high power arc lamps, spectrally matched with a photoinitiator are used. The spectral sensitivity of the measurement device also is designed to match the photoinitiator actinic spectra.

High power LEDs emitting in the ultraviolet and blue wavelength range are used to stimulate photoinitiators in UV curing. The LEDs are selected according to the actinic spectrum of the photoinitiators.

In 3D UV curing applications a uniform irradiation dose across the entire surface area of the three-dimensional objects must be guaranteed often requiring multiple sensors or light meters placed at different locations.
