ISD-100-V01 Integrating Sphere

Gigahertz-Optik offers a range of integrating spheres designed for total flux measurement of spot type (beam and hemispherical 2π light distribution) light sources.

The ISD-100-V01 is a large 1000mm / 40 inch diameter integrating sphere with barium sulfate coating. The 254mm / 10 inch diameter measurement port with its large detection acceptance angle enables the measurement of light sources, LEDs, LED panels, laser and laser diodes with dispersed and/or large diameter beams and eliminates the requirement for perfect perpendicular source to detector alignment. Also the sphere method of measurement reduces most adverse effects of re-reflected light from planar detectors. The detector port is equipped with a UMPF-0.5 type port frame that enables mounting of PD-11 and VL-11 type detectors using the UMPA-0.5/11 adapter and optional UMPA-0.5/11-RD diffuser window that fits onto the adapter. For connection of diode array spectrometers a UMFC-11-SMA SMA type fiber connector can be mounted to the UMPA-0.5/11 adapter. To mount fiber bundles, light guides and other devices to the UMPF-0.5 detector port frame the UMPA-0.5/Fxx universal adapter is available. Two detector ports are supplied on model ISD-100-V02, one with a UMPF-0.5 port frame only, the other one set up with a UFC-11-SMA fiber connector. Both model spheres are supplied in an octagonal frame for integration into a end-user system or for mounting on optional stand.
