X11 Optometer
XD-9509-4 UV-Erythema Light Detector
The X1
1 (Xone one) optometer with XD-9509-4 detector is a compact lightweight radiometer for the evaluation of the UV erythemal risk effected by UV radiation. It is simple to use and mobile and therefore suited for tanning booth inspections and other field service work. Its XD-9506-4 two channel light detector is designed Erythema actinic UV-A and UV-BC irradiance detection. The two sensor design reduces the cross talk between the two wavelength ranges, one of the main sources of error for single sensor design detectors. Both sensors are set-up with a UV hardened diffuser window for cosine corrected field of view. The detector is calibrated by Gigahertz-Optik’s calibration laboratory for optical radiation measurement units. The X1
1 optometer itself is a compact ergonomically designed meter employing latest design technology. One main design feature is its multi-channel capability required for the XD-9509-4 2-cell detector.
The X1
1 also features a high linear current to voltage with seven manually or automatically selected gain ranges. The max. error within this wide dynamic range is 0.2 %. Operating the X1
1 is simple. Once set-up all settings are stored and recalled on next power-up. Measurement values are displayed in absolute quantities. Meter set-up is supported by an easy to use menu accessed by the front panel buttons allowing selection of the operating mode, the detector and measurement parameter. The meter is operated by two standard 1.5 V AA batteries. Or the meter can be powered via its USB interface with a standard USB cable. An optionally available BHO-11 hard-shell case is available.
