Integrating Sphere for Uniform Light Source

The UPK-50-ULS integrating sphere with ODM98 coating¹) forms the basis of a compact size integrating sphere source (ISS) with a uniform and diffuse light output of 10mm diameter. Eight 5mm diameter auxiliary ports allows the assembly of up to eight 5mm diameter type LEDs within the UV to NIR wavelength range. Note that when light sources with different emission spectra are used the light output will be composed of the integrated spectra of all those light sources. The sphere’s unique collar baffle design greatly avoids direct illumination of the light output port by the light sources.

1) ODM98 (OP.DI.MA.) is a light and temperature resistant synthetic coating with very high reflectivity in the ultraviolet to near infrared spectral range with an almost perfect diffuse reflectance characteristic. Used in integrating spheres it offers high light throughput, long life even in UV applications, low self-fluorescence and almost perfect light distribution in a compact size sphere
