ISS-17-RVA-V01 Integrating Sphere Source

The model ISS-17-RVA-V01 integrating sphere source is designed to meet the needs of the most common uniform light source applications:
  • Pixel uniformity and pixel linearity calibration of imaging systems with large dynamic luminance range
  • MTF calibration of imaging sensor resolution where a slit target at a specified distance is uniformly illuminated by the integrating sphere source
  • Luminance or spectral radiance sensitivity calibration of imaging devices or luminance meters
The ISS is built with a 17cm diameter barium sulfate ODP97 coated integrating sphere with a 50mm diameter light output port. The LS-OK30 light source is set-up with the LS-OK30-VAM remote operated variable aperture offering continuous intensity control. The intensity is set against a photometric reference detector. The reference detector also measures the color temperature which is selectable for 2856K and ≥3100K. The device is manually operated using the SC-05 system controller with a touch screen display. Graphical user interfaces for selecting the color temperture, individual luminance adjustment level within the full dynamic range and selection of up to four pre-programmed luminance values. For remote control operation the SC-05 provides USB, RS232 and LAN interfaces.
Calibration of luminance in cd/m² and optional spectral radiance calibration by Gigahertz-Optik’s calibration laboratory for optical radiation measurement is available.
