Integrating Spheres with Modular Set-up Concept

Overall view of the UMB and UMS modular concept spheres, sphere components and design possibilities.

Base Spheres form the central unit of the UMB and UMS series integrating spheres. Available from 10 to 100cm diameter with barium sulfate or synthetic coating. Port frames, detector ports, baffles and stands are added per application demands.

Port Plugs are used to close a port while Port Reducers selectively reduce the port opening diameter. Both are mounted onto the port frame. The inner surface is coated with same sphere coating so as not to disrupt sphere uniformity.

UMPA Port Adapters allow detectors, light traps, optics, light guides, sample holders and other accessories to be assembled to port frames.

Sample Holders are used to position and manipulate test samples in the center of integrating spheres.

Lamp adapter enable the positioning and operation of lamps for measurement at the center of integrating spheres.

Light Sources in internal or external operation designs enable configuration of integrating sphere light sources.
