ISD-15P-IGA
Integrating Sphere Laser Power Detector
The ISD-15P detectors are built with a 150mm diameter integrating sphere with synthetic ODM98 coating with 25mm measurement port and a temperature stabilized photodiode detector. Their large acceptance angle enables the measurement of laser and laser diodes with dispersed and large diameter beams and reduces the need for perpendicular alignment of the laser to the detector. Also the sphere method of measurement avoids the adverse effects of diffuse re-reflected radiation on the laser resonance chamber normally associated with planar detectors.
The detector is offered with two different kinds of photodiode detectors covering different wavelength ranges:
Model ISD-15P-Si is set-up with silicon photodiode for the wavelength range from 400 to 1100nm. Model ISD-15P-IGA is set-up with Indium Gallium Arsenide photodiode detector for the wavelength range from 800 to 1800nm.
The detectors are equipped with a 2m long coaxial cable with selectable -1, -2 or -4 type connector for use with Gigahertz-Optik’s range of optometers. Calibration of spectral radiant power sensitivity in W in 10nm increments within the wavelength range from 400 to 1100nm, 250 to 1100nm or 800 to 1800nm is performed at Gigahertz-Optik’s Calibration Laboratory for Optical Radiation Quantities.
