Light Meter

  • Optometers
offer wide variety and flexibility in the set-up of photometers, radiometers, colorimeters and laser power meters when combined with Gigahertz-Optik light detectors.
Data Logger Optometers are light meters for data logging of the time dependent intensity profile of light flashes, pulse chains or modulated light. Measurement of the peak intensity, pulse length, pulse half width, pulse energy and pulse repetition rate.
    Current signal amplifiers
with very low offset voltage for best possible short circuit photovoltaic operation of semiconductor photodiodes. The detector signal is converted into an analog voltage and amplified in selectable ranges.
    Hazard Light Meters
are UV radiometers and blue light radiometers to measure and assess optical radiation under the aspect of its risk to human skin and eye.
Light Meter and RGB Luminous Color Meter for the measurement of illuminance, luminance, luminous intensity, luminous flux and luminous color in general lighting, workplace task lighting, product qualifications, field service and quality control.
Radiometers measure optical radiation in the applicable units of irradiance, radiant power, radiance and radiant intensity. They are typically used for light source quality control, field service and qualification in industrial, medical and research applications.
Radiometers for LASERs measure laser power, power density, pulse energy and noise characteristic. Also useful for other monochromatic light sources.
    Illuminance detectors
spectral sensitivity matches the CIE and DIN specified V(λ) and V‘(λ) photopic and scotopic functions of the standardized human eye sensitivity. SI unit of calibration and measurement is lux (lx).
    Luminous Intensity Detectors
spectral sensitivity matches CIE and DIN specified V(λ) and V‘(λ) photopic and scotopic functions of the standardized human eye sensitivity. They are calibrated in the measurement unit of candela (cd).
Luminance Detectors spectral sensitivity match the CIE and DIN specified V(λ) photopic function of the standardized human eye sensitivity. They are calibrated in the SI measurement unit cd/m².
Luminous flux detector consisting of integrating sphere and photometric detector with V(λ) responsivity equivalent to DIN and CIE standard. Total flux calibration in lumen.
Irradiance Detectors for optical radiation measurement within selectable spectral ranges. SI units of calibration and measurement in W/m².
Radiant Intensity Detectors for radiometric intensity measurement in W/sr over specific spectral ranges.
Radiance Detectors for radiometric measurement within selectable spectral ranges in the units of W/m²sr.
Radiant Power Detectors made up of integrating spheres with radiometric detectors for power measurement in selectable spectral ranges in the units W.
Light Hazard Detectors for the measurement and assessment of light posing potential health risk to skin and eye.
Light detectors for plant growth actinic radiation measurement including the PAR detector for Photosynthetically Active Radiation.
High Intensity Irradiance Light Detectors for high power density and high temperature radiation sources commonly found in UV and Blue light curing applications.
LASER Detectors for power measurement of lasers, laser diodes and other monochromatic light sources in the low and middle power class. Calibration of spectral sensitivity in W.
Modular Light Detectors serve as the base component for special light measurement solutions. They can be combined with optical filters, lenses, apertures, barrels, integrating spheres and other accessories with calibration.
