UV-Erythemal Light Detector

The XD-9509-4 two-cell detector is designed to evaluate of UV erythemal risk effected by UV radiation according the CIE Erythemal spectral effectiveness function. The two sensor design reduces the cross talk between the UV-A and UV-BC wavelength ranges, one of the main sources of error for single sensor design detectors. Both sensors are set-up with a UV hardened diffuser window for cosine corrected field of view. Calibration of UV-A and UV-BC irradiance in W/m² and W/cm² is performed at Gigahertz-Optik’s Calibration Laboratory for Optical Radiation Quantities. The detector is supplied with a 2m long coaxial cable with -4 type connector for use with Gigahertz-Optik’s X1₁, X1₂ and X1-PCBC optometers.
