UV-AI , UV-BTL1 and UV-BTL12 Irradiance Detector for UV Phototherapy and UV Photobiological Studies
The XD-9503-4 two cell detector is useful in performing irradiance measurements of phototherapeutic light sources in the UV-B and UV-A spectral range. In photobiology the detector is used in dosimetry of broad-band ultraviolet B TL-12, narrow-band ultraviolet B TL-01 and an ultraviolet AI sources that are employed for the suppression of contact hypersensitivity to oxazolone and delayed-type hypersensitivity to herpes simplex virus, plus the formation of cis-urocanic acid in C3H/HeN mice. In the UV-B range the detector is designed for use with the narrow-band TL-01 and the broad-band TL12 source. The UV-A detector is designed for the UV-AI (340-400nm) spectral range. Calibration of irradiance in W/m² and W/cm² is supplied with TL-01 and TL-12 in the UV-B range and broad-band source in the UV-A range. The calibration is performed at Gigahertz-Optik’s Calibration Laboratory for Optical Radiation Quantities. The detector is supplied with a 2m long coaxial cable with -4 type connector for use with Gigahertz-Optik’s X11, X12 and X1-PCBC optometers.
