The XD-9502-4 two-cell UVA/Lux detector uses two filtered photodiodes one for UV-A irradiance and one for photometric illuminance. Both sensors have UV hardened diffuser windows for cosine corrected field of view. The detector is supplied with a 2m long coaxial cable with -4 type connector for use with Gigahertz-Optik’s X11, X12 and X1-PCBC optometers. This detector with the X1 series multi-channel optometer is ideal for fast and accurate light measurements in Photostability testing of drugs and drug products and also in (NDT) Non-Destructive Testing, specifically Liquid Penetrant Testing where UVA and white light contrast are controlled. Calibration of UV-A irradiance in W/m² and W/cm² as well as illuminance calibration in lux is performed at Gigahertz-Optik’s Calibration Laboratory for Optical Radiation Quantities.
