P-9710-2 Optometer
UV-3718-2 UV-C254nm Irradiance Detector
ROD-360-UV18-2 360° F.O.V. UV-C254nm Irradiance Detector

The P-9710-2 optometer is a highly efficient single-channel instrument designed for multipurpose use in most photometric and radiometric applications. It features sixteen different measurement modes including CW, Dose, Peak to Peak, Datalogger plus a pulse energy mode for the measurement of short light flashes using a pulse stretching method. The UV-3718-2 detector is designed to measure the irradiance of 254nm dominant UV-C light sources with a wide dynamic range. Its cosine diffuser, band pass filter and UV-C photodiode are UV-C pre aged to minimize degradation even in long term use under UV-C radiation. A flexible stainless steel sheath is provided around the detector cable for UV-C protection as well. The ROD-360-UV19 detector is designed to measure the irradiance of 254nm dominant UV-C light sources requiring a wide dynamic range. Its ROD diffuser with 360° radial field of view, band pass filter and UV-C photodiode are UV-C hardened to minimize degradation. Both detectors can be used in both air and water sterilisation applications, Eprom eraser, UV-C pre-aging systems and medical equipment sterilization. Combined with the P-9710-2 these detectors can also be used to measure the average energy of pulsed Xenon light sources. Its compact size with high-level technical and functional features characterizes the P-9710 as both a laboratory grade instrument and field service meter. Another unique feature of the P-9710 is its detector head calibration data connector which stores all data pertaining to a light detector head including model and serial number and calibration data. Because of this feature only the detector needs to be returned to the factory for periodical re-calibration unless both items are required to be re-calibrated together. Many customers employ a second detector so work can continue during the time the detector is out for calibration. The P-9710’s wide signal range of 0.1pA to 2mA with eight manually or automatically selected gain ranges covers the dynamic range of the semiconductor photodiodes used in both light detectors. The maximum error within this wide dynamic range is 0.2 % through traceable calibrations of each range. A bi-directional RS232 serial interface allows external remote control. The meter is battery (rechargeable) or AC operated.
