X911-µ UV-C Irradiance Meter
X911 UV-C Irradiance Meter
UV-3718-4 UV-C254nm Irradiance Radiometer
The X9
11 (Xnine eleven) with its UV-3718-4 UV light detector is a compact lightweight radiometer for the measurement of UV-C
254nm irradiance and irradiance dose. The UV-3718-4 detector is built with a solar blind UV-C photodiode combined with a narrow band filter to limit its spectral sensitivity to 254nm within the UV-C spectral range. Germicidal UVC254nm radiation is lethal to pathogenic germs that can cause diseases like tuberculosis. In order to maintain UVGI efficacy while ensuring safety from overexposure to UV radiation measurements of both the germicidal sources themselves and surrounding spaces are performed. The X9
11 meters are handheld battery operated instruments with 9 mm high character LCD display for easy viewing. The X9
11-µ is set-up for measurements in the µW/cm² range whereas the X9
11 is set for readings in mW/cm². Their high linear current to voltage amplifier offers seven manually or automatically selected gain ranges. The max. error within this wide dynamic range is 0.2 %. Operating the X9
11 is simple. Once set-up all settings are stored and recalled on next power-up unless settings are changed. The meter is operated by one standard 9 V battery. An optional BHO-04 hard-shell case is available.
