UMPR Port Reducers mount into UMPF port frames to decrease and vary the free aperture diameter of the port according to the application. The UMPR aperture diameter is made end-user specified e.g. UMPR-2.0-xx, xx = 25mm with knife edge. Beside the hole design the aperture can be specified with a knife-edge design. Port reducers are designed to fit the port frame and secure in place with three M2.5 set screws that seat in the frame V-groove. The surface facing the sphere interior is coated with ODP97 Gigahertz-Optik’s barium sulfate paint. The UMPR-HL port reducers are for designed heavy load port frames.
UMPR-K and UMPR-K-HL port reducers with ODM98 coating are offered for use with UMBK series ODM98 coated integrating spheres.
