Baffles play a very important role in integrating sphere design since direct irradiation of detectors, port to port viewing and direct sample irradiation will negate the multiple reflection principle of the integrating sphere. An important consideration is that the baffle coating should be the same type or of higher reflectance as used in the integrating sphere itself.

UMPB-ZB series port baffles with ODM98 coating are designed for use with the UMBK series 10mm thick synthetic ODM98 integrating spheres.
