UMPF-0.5 with UMPA-0.5 series

UMDP Detector Ports enable light detector heads and light analyzers to be mounted onto the integrating sphere. These ports are permanently assemble onto the sphere. Different versions are offered:

• Model UMDP-37 for 37 type detectors
• Model UMDP-45 for 45 type detectors
• Model UMDP-BTS256-LED for BTS256-LED light analyzer

UMPF Port Frames with UMPA series Port Adapters are also available to mount other light detector types, light guides and fiber optic connectors to integrating spheres including:

• UMPF-0.5 Port Frame with UMPA-0.5/11 Port Adapter for PD-11, TD-11 and VL-11 detectors
• UMPF-0.5 Port Frame with UMPA-0.5/11 and UFC-11-SMA Port Adapters for fibers with SMA connector
• UMPF-0.5 Port Frame with UMPA-0.5/Fxx Port Adapter for light guides up to 10mm diameter
• UMPF-1.0 Port Frame with UMPA-1.0/Fxx Port Adapter for light guides up to 20mm diameter

Detector ports are normally baffled to avoid direct illumination on them emanating from the center of the integrating sphere or from another port. The UMPB series of port baffles is described in the port baffle section under UMBB, UMSB and UMBK modular integrating spheres.
