LCTR-2005-SIS
Light Transmittance Meter System for Stationary Lab or Production Based Light Transmission Measurement

The LCRT-2005-SIS is a stationary bench top light transmittance meter designed for in situ measurement of light (luminous) transmittance in the visible wavelength range. To fulfill the technical requirements for high precision spectral transmittance measurements two individual diode array spectrometers are built into the unit that simultaneously measure the light source illuminating the test sample (Device Under Test - DUT) and the light output of the DUT to create transmission measurements independent of light source fluctuation and re-reflected light from the DUT. The illumination source is a frequency modulated pulsed light enabling measurement under ambient light conditions. Spectral transmission measurements can be performed covering the whole integrated spectral range from 425 to 705nm or monochromatically with selectable wavelengths between 425 to 705nm and selectable bandwidths. Either standard CIE illuminant A or D65 illumination simulated source spectra can be selected for the spectral measurement of photometric transmission. In some applications requiring a faster response time as in electrically controlled windows (smart glass), the time dependent light transmittance must be measured to qualify the response time. Here the spectral measurement method is too slow. The LCRT-2005-S includes an additional photometric photodiode detector beside the diode array spectrometer which allows high speed data logging measurements.
The LCRT-2005-SIS also features a powerful system controller to support the spectral and the high speed data logger measurements. The controller is built into a 3HE 19inch modular housing with touch screen display front panel for manual system control. For remote control operation the device offers USB, RS232 and Ethernet interfaces. For traceable measurement the device can be calibrated using the optional LCRT-2005-S-BN-T70 or T80 spectral transmittance standard filters that are calibrated against standards from national metrology laboratories in Gigahertz-Optik’s calibration aboratory.
