VL-6001 Photometric Illuminance Detector

The VL-6001 photometric Illuminance detector is set-up with a large diameter chromatically corrected front lens with a finely tailored photopic spectral response match to the CIE and DIN V(λ) spectral function. Its main applications are measuring low level illuminance of spot sources at long distances between source and detector on photometric benches or photogoniometers. Its 1.7 degree field of view requires a precise alignment with the light source and note that the beam pattern must under fill the detector acceptance angle. The detector is supplied with a 2m long coaxial cable with selectable –1, -2 or -4 type connector for use with Gigahertz-Optik’s range of optometers. Calibration of illuminance in lux is performed at Gigahertz-Optik’s Calibration Laboratory for Optical Radiation Quantities.
