PD-9310B Photometric Illuminance Detector

The PD-9310 series Illuminance detectors with a finely tailored match to the CIE and DIN V(λ) spectral responsivity are built with large 1cm² photodiodes for use in low light level applications. Their 30mm diameter diffuser window provides a full integration effect making them insensitive to small non-uniformities within the incident light profile. The detectors are equipped with a BNC connector (female) located on the rear of the detector housing and a 2m long coaxial cable with selectable –1, -2 or -4 type connector for use with Gigahertz-Optik’s range of optometers. Calibration of illuminance in lux or fc is performed at Gigahertz-Optik’s Calibration Laboratory for Optical Radiation Quantities.
The PD-9310A is a high quality detector for the measurement of illuminance. Its V(λ) f1’ specification for daylight vision is equal to or better than 3% which satisfies the requirements for a class A lux detector head according to DIN 5032 Part 7.
The PD-9310B is a cost effective alternative to the PD-9310A where a less precise V(λ) match is acceptable. Its V(λ) f1’ specification for daylight vision is equal to or better than 6% which satisfies the requirements for a class B lux detector head according to DIN 5032 Part 7.
