X93 Laser Power Meter
LP-9901-4 Laser Power and Power Density Detector
ISD-5-Si-4 Laser Power Integrating Sphere Detector
The X9
3 (Xnine three) meter with the
LP-9901-4 detector or
ISD-5-Si-4 integrating sphere detector (former LP-9910-4) is a compact lightweight radiometer for the measurement of Laser Power and Power Density in W and W/m² within the wavelength range from 400 to 1100nm. The LP-9901-4 offers a low profile 8mm height housing with 7mm diameter measurement window for the measurement of laser power in mW and power density in mW/m². Its cable cover serves as a handle to assist with handling the detector in laser set-ups. The ISD-5-Si-4 is built with a compact 50mm diameter integrating sphere with 12.5mm measurement port and a silicon photodiode detector. The +/-45° acceptance angle accepts the measurement of laser and laser diodes with dispersed beams and reduces the need for perpendicular alignment of the laser to the detector. Also the sphere method of measurement avoids the adverse effects of the diffuse re-reflected radiation on the laser resonance chamber normally associated with planar detectors. Both detectors are calibrated for spectral sensitivity from 400 to 1100nm in 10nm wavelength steps as well as for power density. The calibration is traceable to international standards. The X9
3 meter is a handheld battery operated meter with 9 mm high character LCD display for easy viewing. Its high linear current to voltage amplifier offers seven manually or automatically selected gain ranges. The maximum error within this wide dynamic range is 0.2 %. Operating the X9
4 is simple. Once set-up all settings are stored and recalled on next power-up unless changed.. The meter is operated by a standard 9 V battery. BHO-04 or BHO-01 (for ISD-5-Si-4) hard-shell case is optionally available.
