X11 Irradiance Radiometer
RCH-0 High Intensity Irradiance Detector
RCH-1 High Intensity Irradiance Detector
The X1
1 (Xone one) meter in combination with one or more of Gigahertz-Optik’s RCH-0 or RCH-1 type light detectors forms a compact lightweight radiometer for the measurement of irradiance in W/cm² and W/m² and irradiance dose in J/cm² and J/m² of high intensity light sources. Simple and error-free selection of the detector in use with its calibration data is accomplished using the X1’s menu mode accessed using front panel buttons. A most common use is the periodical check and adjustment of the irradiance level of spot and flat field sources in UV and Blue Light curing applications. The RCH line of detectors is designed for high intensity hot UV and Blue Light radiation sources including LEDs typically used in the curing process. The low profile RCH detectors enable irradiance measurement just 8mm above the exposure plane. UV curing spot sources with fiber light guides up to 8mm diameter can be measured due to the detector’s 9mm diameter measurement aperture with diffuser window. Both the RCH-0 model with a flexible light guide and RCH-1 with a rigid light guide are available. Both can be ordered with different spectral responsivities, e.g. broadband UV, UV-A and Blue. The X1
1 meter itself is a handheld battery operated meter with backlit LCD display for easy viewing. Its high linear current to voltage amplifier provides seven manually or automatically selected gain ranges. The maximum error within this wide dynamic range is 0.2 %. Operating the X1
1 is simple. Once set-up all settings are stored and recalled on next power-up unless re-programmed. The meter is operated by two AA batteries or alternatively powered by PC when connected through its USB interface. Meter and both detectors fit into the BHO-05.hard-shell case.
