X11 Optometer
UV-3718-4 UV-C254nm Irradiance Detector
BHO-11 Hard Case
The X1
1 (Xone one) optometer combined with UV-3718-4 light detector is a compact lightweight radiometr for the measurement of UV-C narrow band sources at 254nm. Monochromatic 254nm UV-C irradiation is used for air and water sterilization. The simple to use meter offers a measurement range up to 2500mW/cm² with maximum resolution of 5nW/cm². This wide dynamic range enables measurement of both directed effective UVGI or Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiance and also the irradiance stray UV light levels within the sterilization area that could pose a health hazard. The UV-3718-4 light detector is designed for long term use in UV-C applications by means of a quartz RADIN diffuser and a SiC photodiode with narrow band filter. For best long term stability in UV-C application all components are UV-C pre aged and the cable is protected by a stainless steel sheath. The detector head is calibrated for irradiance responsivity in W/cm² at 254nm by Gigahertz-Optik’s calibration laboratory for optical radiation measurement. The X911 meter itself is a compact ergonomically designed device for suitable for lab or field use. It offers a precise current to voltage amplifier with seven manually or automatically selected gain ranges. The max. error within this wide dynamic range is 0.2 %. Measurement values are displayed in W/cm². The meter features both CW irradiance and a irradiance dose measurement mode with manually start stop function to measure exposure in J/cm². The meter is operated by one standard 9V battery. A hard-shell case for the meter/detector is optionally available.
